Celebrate National Nutrition Month with Wellness and Work-Life!

What is a better way to learn about nutrition than to participate in one of the two upcoming programs?

We will be kicking off the month with our 4-week program-Better Bites! This program will help you learn which foods nourish your body, where to find them in the supermarket and how to prepare quick, budget-friendly meals and snacks to keep your body fueled.  Join us each Thursday from 12-1pm to learn from registered dietitians across UA’s campus. Register today!

You can follow along with the National Nutrition Month Passport. You explore the different nutrition activities we have planned throughout the month. Complete 6 of the 9 activities to earn program credit towards your WellBAMA rewards.

One of those being our mystery vegetable of the week, where you’ll check our social media for the clue and find us at the specified location to reveal the answer. Each week we will share the benefits of that vegetable along with a tasty recipe to try at home. 

For the final activity, you’ll want to grab some co-workers to join you as you complete the Nutrition Scavenger Hunt on March 24th. Starting at Denny Chimes, you’ll take a scenic tour of campus and be quizzed on better ways to “Fuel for the Future”!

Healthy eating can be more than just nutrition. It’s about enjoying fresh, tasty food you enjoy and being with the company of friends and family. So, we hope to see you and a co-worker at an upcoming event soon!
