We recently hosted a wellness webinar about nourishing your children with the nutrients and flavors they need to thrive now and forever.

Nourishing your Child with Fun!

Making healthy food interactive and fun can be a great way to nourish your child with more fruits and veggies. Plus, when you interact with your child through food, you’re able to strengthen your relationship and have fun together. Try these tips to spark interest and excitement around nutritious food.

1. Fun at the Grocery Store

Take your child to the grocery store.

Let them pick out a fruit and veggie, be in charge of the list, and look at nutrition labels together.

2. Fun at Prep Time

Give your child a job when it’s time to cook dinner.

They can cut ingredients with child-safe knives, wash produce, and taste-test of course!

3. Fun While Gardening

Garden with your child.

Discuss how different produce grows and harvest your crops together.

Making sure that eating healthy is fun for the whole family will help your children get the nutrients they need and set them up with healthy habits for life. It may seem time-consuming now but try one tip to start – it’ll be worth it! If you are interested in seeing the full wellness class, you can watch here.
